My visit to Modern Mamma Osteria was a true celebration of Italian flavors with a modern and creative touch. Every dish showcased care, technique, and a deep passion for great cuisine.
I began with the thin focaccia, which impressed with its lightness and crunch. Served warm and aromatic, it strikes the perfect balance of texture and flavor — simple yet refined, and an excellent way to start the meal.
For the main course, the Herb pappardelle with roasted wild boar ragu was absolutely sublime. The fresh herb-infused pasta had a delicate aroma and a perfect texture. The wild boar ragu, slow-cooked to perfection, was rich, succulent, and full of personality — an ideal match for the freshness of the pasta. It’s a comforting and surprising dish.
Another highlight was the roasted lamb shoulder with rosemary, served with tagliolini in butter and sage. The lamb was fork-tender, deeply flavorful, and beautifully complemented by the rosemary. The tagliolini, simple in appearance, was pure flavor: high-quality butter and fresh sage created an elegant and irresistible combination.
To finish, I had the Tiramisù Della Osteria, the house’s special dessert. Creamy, light, and well-balanced, it stays true to Italian tradition while adding a subtle modern flair. It’s the kind of dessert that lingers in your memory.
Modern Mamma Osteria offers more than just a meal — it delivers a refined culinary experience. With attentive service, a warm ambiance, and unforgettable dishes, it’s a must-visit for anyone who appreciates fine dining.
